HBX | Harvard Business School

HBX CORe (Credential of Readiness) is a 150-hour certificate program on the fundamentals of enterprise from Harvard Business School. CORe comprises of three courses - Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting developed by leading Harvard Business School faculty and delivered in an active learning environment according to the HBS signature case-based learning model.


Business Analytics

Course Instructor - Professor Jan Hammond

Business Analytics introduced me to quantitative methods used to analyze data and make better management decisions. The course material gave me an in-depth understanding of the key concepts to help me make business decisions and apply the knowledge to real-world problems.


Economics for Managers

Course Instructor - Professor Bharat Anand

Economics for Managers helped me understand the fundamentals of supply, demand, Willingness to Pay (WTP), Willingness to Sell (WTS), cost, markets, competition, and differentiation. This course primarily equipped me with knowledge and skills to craft business strategies.


Financial Accounting

Course Instructor - Professor V.G Narayan

Financial Accounting, gave me a thorough understanding of the primers of Finance with respect to assets, liabilities, balance sheets and income statements, revenues, and expenses. This course covered the basics of financial accounting, learning about recording transactions using journal entries, posting them to T accounts, preparing a trial balance and then use this trial balance to prepare the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and the Cash Flow Statement.


I have given the final exam, and currently waiting for the results to come.
